  21.06.10 Michael Ritscher appointed part-time judge to the Zurich Commercial Court

In March 2010, Michael Ritscher was appointed a judge at the Commercial Court of the Canton of Zurich by the cantonal parliament. As an attorney-at-law with around 20 years' advisory and specifically also forensic experience in intellectual property law, the court will mainly call on Michael Ritscher's services in cases related to this area of the law. The Zurich Commercial Court is also internationally renowned for its practice of inviting parties to a preliminary hearing to help them to quickly find a consensual solution to their dispute. meyerlustenberger would like to congratulate Michael Ritscher on this new challenge and is looking forward to sharing in the experience he will gain as a judge.

  25.02.10 Barbara Müller joins INTA-Komitee

Recently Barbara K. Müller has been elected as a member of the Non-Traditional Marks Committee which forms part of the International Trademark Association (INTA).

INTA is a not-for-profit membership association of more than 5,900 trademark owners and professionals, from more than 190 countries, dedicated to the support and advancement of trademarks and related intellectual property.

We congratulate Barbara K. Müller to her election and are pleased that thanks to her dedication meyerlustenberger is able to profit both with regard to continuing education and to further cultivating meyerlustenberger's already extensive network within the international legal community.

  15.01.10 New lawyer Heike Schulz

meyerlustenberger is delighted to announce that lic. iur. Heike Schulz, LL.M. joined our firm on 1 January 2010. She specialises in company law and litigation.

Heike Schulz studied at the University of Lucerne and obtained in 2007 an LL.M. degree from the Potsdam University. Before her bar exam in 2009 Heike Schulz served as a legal clerk at the district court in Meilen/Zurich.
